From Start to Finish
You deal with the owner, not a call center. He manages every trade on your project.
Drawings, engineering and city approvals are taken care of before we break ground.
A clear estimate up front, a schedule you can plan around and regular updates as we build.
Your family keeps living normally. We clean up before we leave, every single day.
Summer dinners that run until sunset. Birthday parties. Kids playing until it gets dark. Evenings around the fire with the mountains in view. Most Idaho homes already have room for all of it, but the space is unshaded, unfinished or simply unused.
Transforming that space is the work we love most. We build outdoor places that look like they always belonged to your home, stand up to Idaho’s sun, snow and wind, and get used every single day.
One builder for every outdoor project, from a single patio cover to a full backyard, garage or addition.

Working inside the home too? We bring the same care to bathroom and interior remodels.
View all services We specialize in patio covers built with SkyLift roof riser technology. Instead of a low-slope tie-in, the cover rises above your existing roofline for more headroom, more light, better airflow and cleaner drainage, and it can save up to 40%.
Every cover is designed around your home’s roofline and built for Boise’s snow loads. Patio covers start at $60 per square foot.
Get a patio cover estimateAs an authorized PERGOLUX partner, we install motorized louvered pergolas across the Treasure Valley. Open the louvers for sun, close them when the weather turns, from a freestanding backyard retreat to a wall-mounted patio cover.
We handle everything from the site review through installation.

“I’m Mike, owner of Kemsley Construction. What I love most is working outside and transforming people’s outdoor spaces. There’s something special about taking a backyard nobody uses and turning it into the place where a family spends its best evenings.”
“As a family man, I treat every customer the way I’d want my own family treated: honest pricing, clear communication and work I’m proud to put my name on. When I tell you a date, I mean it.”
